Kim Morris is a lifelong resident who brings a wealth of experience to the table as a multi-business owner, with a background in banking management. She understands the challenges and opportunities that shape the city's economic landscape. As an active volunteer and community advocate she will serve in the best interest of businesses and residents in McMinnville.

Recent years have brought forth major issues throughout our community that require attention and collective action. We can no longer ignore the stark reality: crime rates are alarming with break-ins, home and retail theft, arson, and harmful littering, along with other security concerns. This affects not only our neighborhoods and businesses, but our parks, library, and schools who have regrettably lost their sense of safety and stability. 

To improve the livability of McMinnville, we must address the substantial debt that has incurred with our city, by implementing responsible financial management, minimize tax increases that are burdensome to our residents and businesses, foster sustainable growth, generate new job opportunities and create affordable and workforce housing. It’s time to prioritize the well-being, happiness and success of all residents and businesses, which will allow our community to thrive.

At the heart of our efforts lies a vision for a strong community which includes the bonds that unite us and the collective values that define us. We must work together to establish open bridges instead of barriers, cultivate partnerships rather than divisions, and consistently ensure that every voice is heard and valued in the city’s decision-making processes. Let’s work together to ensure a brighter and more secure future for generations to come.
